Use Windows PC Keyboard on Mac

You can use any keyboard on Mac. If you don’t own an apple keyboard you can use windows keyboard. Bellow steps to use windows PC keyboard on Mac.

How to Use Windows PC Keyboard on Mac OS

  • Connect the PC keyboard to the Mac, via USB Cable or Bluetooth device.
  • Pull down the Apple menu & choose “System Preferences
  • Then click on the “Keyboard” option.
  • Choose the “Keyboard” tab & then click on the “Modifier Keys” button in the lower right corner of the preference panel.
  • Choose the PC keyboard in Select Keyboard drop-down menu at the top of the Modifier keys screen to insure you are modifying the proper keyboard connected to the Mac.
  • Click the drop-down > OPTION Key > Command.
  • Click the drop-down > COMMAND Key & select Option.
  • Hit OK and use your keyboard on Mac.
